IVANOE AUCES, THE NEW FACE OF CANCUN FC'S DEFENSE

Coming from San Luis in the Under 23 category, the 21-year-old is the Iguanas' most recent signing for the 2025 Clausura Tournament of the Liga de Expansión MX

Cancún, Quintana Roo, January 11, 2025.- Coming from San Luis, U23 category, the defender, Iván Auces Urenda, 21 years old, arrives at Cancún FC.

The young defender, originally from San Luis Potosí, is 1.74 meters tall and weighs 70 kilograms, with a process in the Basic Forces, from Under 17 (2020-2021), with appearances in Under 18 (2021-2022), Under 20 (2022-2023) and of course, the Under 23 category (Apertura 2023, Clausura and Apertura 2024), respectively.

In total, he played 124 games and scored eight goals during his time with the Potosi team. In the Apertura 2021 and Clausura 2022 campaigns with the U18 team, he recorded 2,865 minutes (34 games, 17 in each, 33 as a starter and only once as a substitute against Mazatlán).

In the Apertura 2024, his last season, but with the U23, he played in ten games, four as a starter.

Before joining San Luis, he played for the Querétaro U15 (Apertura 2018 and Clausura 2019).

With the arrival of Auces, the Iguanas now have four reinforcements for the 2025 Clausura of the Liga de Expansión MX: midfielders Iván Ochoa, Armando Chávez and forward Sergio de los Ríos.
